He nodded, and poured two glasses, one with milk, one with juice, and set them on the table, before walking around and pulling out the seat, in front of which sat the juice. He turned to her and arched a brow expectantly.

Akasha stared at him for a moment, not knowing what to do before walking forward and sat down upon the chair that he had pulled out. “Thanks…” She said softly as she looked at the table. She had been real mean to him last night, and here he was being all nice to her this morning. Now she felt horrible.

He took his own seat once she was seated, and sipped his milk, licking away the rim of white that formed on his lip. He lifted the plate of eggs, and offered it to her. "Did you sleep well?" he asked, smiling slightly at her.

“Umm, yeah... Quite well actually, you?” She inquired softly as she took the plate and only took a bit for herself. She wasn’t a big eater what so ever. “What made you decide to get up and cook?” She asked with a faint laugh, having clearly not expected such a thing.

He shrugged, and served himself some as well, before passing the plate of meat. "Well enough," he replied, sipping his drink again. "And I did this as an appology."

“Oh…” She said guiltily as she lowered her head and accepted the meat. Yup, she felt utterly horrible for making him feel bad. Serving herself a bit, she passed him back the plate and curled her legs around the chair leg. “Sorry about yesterday… Like I said, I take a lot of mood swings, some worse than others… If I get like that, just ignore me.” Akasha said softly. “It will pass rather quickly on most days.” She added before falling silent and taking a small drink from her juice as she tucked her hair behind her ears.

He shook his head. "Stop it. Don't you dare go feeling guilty on me. I deserved every bit of the rebuke you gave me." He set his glass down on the table and watched her eyes. "You are who you are. Don't ever appologize for being yourself, because you're showing another person that you don't really know yourself that well." He took a bite of his eggs.

She raised her eyes and looked at him briefly, her eyes a mix between dark gray and silver. ‘What if I don’t know myself? What if this isn’t me?’ They seemed to say though it flashed only briefly before her gaze went back to its calm, usual self. A faint grin danced upon her lips for a moment before she looked at him innocently, staring at him intently. She was only joking, but she couldn’t help it. She watched him take a big of his eggs. “Okay, so now let’s see if you’ll drop dead, and if you don’t, I’ll try it.” With that she placed her elbows on the table and linked her fingers, as though she was truly waiting for the effect.

He shook his head, laughing. "Do you honestly think I'd poison you?" he said, arching a brow at her. "That'd jilt me of a considerable part of my paycheck." He winked at her, brushing the hair that had fallen into his eyes away, and took another bite.

The light demoness pointed towards him as he laughed; a look of utter shock upon her face. “I was right… it is poisonous, you are laughing.” She stated calmly, or as calmly as she could as she picked up her fork and poked at the eggs jokingly before taking a bite. Fear of food poisoning… that would be the day! “You know, you could still get your full paycheck if you didn’t tell them that something had happened to me.” She stated after taking a drink of her juice. Breakfast was delicious, actually being able to taste real cooked food made her in a better mood. “Or… I could get hurt and blame it on your lack of protection.” She winked back at him, for even if she had a lot of protection, she was bound to get hurt.

He arched a brow. "Man, you're simply devious when you want to be," he said, placing the back of his hand against his forehead dramatically. "That hurt, right here." He moved his hand to cover his heart. He grinned at her, then finished off his eggs. "So, any ideas where your parents went off to?" he asked, starting on the meat.

She smirked in amusement. “What can I say? I learned from the best.” She said as she continued eating. She finished off her eggs before answering him, though in the beginning, she had only stared at him in faint amusement. “Shade, I’ve been gone for a decade… I have absolutely no idea where they could be.” Akasha said as she rolled her eyes. “But, every time I visit, over the past three centuries, I’ve only received a note saying that they were going out.” She stated, though she bit back the part that they were rebels, and of course, they had better things to do than stay at home. The light demoness did miss them at times, but since they were rebels, she barely knew them. It didn’t bother her, as long as they didn’t get themselves murdered or thrown in Klyera.

He nodded, setting down his cup and chewing on a particularly tough piece of meat. He caught the subtle hints in her words, and shrugged his shoulders lightly; the rule in Feron was 'don't ask don't tell.' So he wasn't going to ask. "Where do you think we'll head after this?" he asked.

She looked down at the piece of toast that she had just taken, seeming to ponder for a minute or two, trying to think of a place where they could go. “I… I don’t know…” She sighed softly. She just wanted to get away from here for a bit. The amount of time she would be gone for made no difference; she just wanted to be gone. She merely looked down at her food and continued eating for a moment as her gaze became distant. Her thoughts swiftly took over her mind, and she shook her head. “Somewhere not filled with sand, or a place not surrounded by water on all sides and mines… Do you have any place you would like to go?” She inquired gently, hoping that he did have a place, if not, she would merely head into the unknown, that was always fun. “I’d actually like to someday visit Verev, Usteck. I haven’t been there yet…” Akasha added softly, her gaze going back towards her food as she continued eating, wondering what made her want to visit a place with only three hours of sunlight… But, it seemed almost welcoming to her, to be surrounded by the dark, and all its beauty.

He shrugged. "Not really," he said, munching on a piece of toast. "Though I can tell you that there's no much to see in Usteck and Verev. It's mostly barren tundras. But if that's where you want to go...." He shrugged. "We can catch a ship from the coast, and head out tomorrow. It'll take us the rest of the day today if we leave within the hour to get to the coast."

She rose her shoulder’s calmly, a smile upon her lips. “Verev, it is because of the darkness, and Usteck, I want to see the large trees… nothing much, but enough to satisfy my need to get away from here.” Akasha muttered softly, though she nodded. “Sure, I can be ready within an hour if I start getting ready now!” She winked, as she pushed her plate away from her, unable to finish her food. “Do you need anything specific for the trip?” She asked curiously as she got up and started running water to start cleaning the dishes as she picked at her food and finished off the little bit of meat that she had left. She hated wasting.

He shook his head, wrapping up what was left and placing it in the icebox, so that her parents could have it when they returned. "You might want to pack a few things to eat for the journey. I'm fine for a few days, but I don't have much cash on me, and we need to keep that for the boat fare." He bumped her hips lightly with his own. "I'll take care of this, you go get ready to go." He picked up a cloth and began cleaning not only the plates, but the cookware as well.

Akasha stared at him for a moment before quickly moving out of the way. “Sheesh, what can you not do? You are a chef, a guardian, a cook… And who knows what else.” She said as she shook her head and darted off. “I’ll only be a few minutes, and the money is taken care of… I’ve always saved my money here, in case an incident happened.” The light demoness explained briefly as she rushed out of the kitchen and up the stairs. “Do I need a weapon?” She called out from the door of her room, looking at her scythes upon the wall.” They could be fun.

He flashed her a grin, and watched a moment as she rushed up the stairs. "Only something you can hide!" he called back. "The shipmasters don't like it when they have large weapons aboard. They might not let you on with one of those scythes." He smirked to himself, and rinsed the dish he was currently working on.

“Damn…” She said quite loudly as she almost dropped the scythe before placing it back against the wall and running through the corridor upstairs, slipping into the bathroom to get washed up, though that only took around seven minutes. Once she had done that, she walked towards her room and sighed. “Do you think they will accept chains, if I were them as accessories?” The light demoness asked hopefully as she took down a few chains from her walls and placed them upon the bed. She silently hooked a dagger inside her boot and tied two chains around her waist, seriously hoping that she would have at least one weapon.

"I think those would be fine," he replied, drying off the last few dishes and setting them away in the cabinet. He started up the stairs. "Which way are we leaving? Through the front door, or the window?" he inquired, leaning against the doorframe of her room.

She looked at him, her eyes shinning brightly as she looked at him in amusement. "We are leaving by the window…" She said with a gentle smile. "I want to be able to keep the front door locked… not leave it to the access of anyone who would be interested in trying to get into the house.’" She said as she tucked another dagger in her boot. These daggers had a certain hook attached to them. They were specially made to be able to hook up to her chains. She remembered something and ran downstairs, sliding down the rail, before running back upstairs with her cloak and her bag. "Is there a way that you would prefer?" She inquired in amusement as she stood beside the window, ready to jump out, though she felt an odd sensation in her stomach, knowing that she was leaving home once again. ((Shhh... I'm at school... gotta go!))

He shifted to his ermine form again and crawled over to her, climbing up to settled around her neck again. ~Nope. I was just curious.~ One could practically hear the smirk in his voice as he settled down for the trip down the wall.

She merely shook her head and shifted her position to allow herself to drop towards the ground, one hand placed over him to stop him from falling off of her neck, as she felt the wind rush up to meet her, slowing her down and allowing her to land gently. Silver eyes were sent towards the window and soon it closed shut, as the wind closed it. “Perfect! Don’t get yourself too comfortable, you’ll be walking soon enough.” She laughed as she headed out towards the desert, slinging her bag gently over her shoulder as she held her cloak in one arm. Might as well enjoy the sun while it lasted, for soon, they would be at sea.

He purred softly against her neck, and chucked quietly. ~As you wish.~ The shade that her hair offered kept him quite comfortable, while also helping him retain some of his power. Because he was a halfbreed, Shade didn't lose all of his power during the daylight; just some of it, and darkness still made him feel much better than the light.
