He laughed good-naturedly at them, and shrugged. "The academy isn't exactly where I'd want to spend my time either. Hence, I became a trader. I'm not much for being a scholar," he shrugged and ran a hand through his hair. "Didn't exactly fit in among the other school boys," he said with a laugh.[/size]

Cynyr shrugged as well. "Eh, I guess there are worse things than going to school. I mean it's a step up from what I have hear." He pointed out. Cyn loved being out on the streets he knew who he was out there. He was made for it. But what he couldn't stand was the way people looked at him.
It wasn't like he was dressed in rags or anything. He always made sure he had clothes that matched the area he was in, if only because it made his pick-pocketing job easier when people didn't automatically notice that you were an outsider.
But still, people could tell. When a small kid stands on the street alone, just watching...people notice. And whether the looks are of digust or pity it didn't matter, Cyn didn't want anyone to look down on him for any reason.
"Besides, who says I want to be a scholar?" he asked a moment later. "Calculating the stars and improbable math problems or writing poetry...I can't really see myself doing anything like that. If anything I'd want to study magic, at least that's interesting." Then he glanced at Tara. "Hey maybe for your final form you could be a dragon or something. That'd be awesome."
Tara rolled her eyes. "Oh, great idea genius. I have enough trouble getting into places as a dog. Just imagine how many people I'd have to avoid if I was the size of an arena? I'd die of paranoia." She said with a huff. "Maybe you should look into that scholar thing."
